🚀 New Feature Release: Affiliate Tracking on Vid Analytics!!

As part of our strategic partnership with ClickBank, we’re excited to introduce
Affiliate Tracking on Vid Analytics
—a powerful enhancement that provides affiliate-level visibility to help you make data-driven decisions and optimize performance.
🔧 How to Set Up:
To start tracking affiliate performance:
1. Ensure affiliates use the correct tracking format:
  • Affiliates should add the
    "affiliate"
    URL parameter to their links leading to your video page.
  • Example:
    https://yourpage.com?affiliate=affiliateID
2. Traffic detection and storage:
  • When an affiliate sends traffic, the video player will detect the
    affiliate ID
    and store it in your
    video stats
    .
3. Filter and segment your data:
  • Use the
    Affiliate Filter
    on
    Analytics Home
    to filter data by a specific affiliate.

⚠️ Restrictions:
1. Availability:
This feature is accessible to all paid plans with Filters/Segments enabled.
2. Affiliate Link Format:
Proper tracking relies on correctly tagged affiliate links, including the "affiliate" URL parameter with the correct affiliate ID.
3. ClickBank-Specific Parameters:
  • ClickBank affiliate IDs can be detected via "hop", "shield", or "affiliate" parameters.
  • Currently, shielded (encrypted) affiliate IDs are supported via the "shield" value.
  • Decryption support for encrypted affiliate IDs is coming soon!

approach out of the box. Including both the HopLinks and Direct Tracking.
With the only exception of when the affiliate is encrypted (utilizing the shield parameter). This we will add soon too.
